VE Day 2025

What's happening in Belton on
10th May 2025

Building on the incredible work Poppy Ninja's began last year, we couldn't let the 80th Anniversary VE Day Celebration pass without enhancing it further.

We've chosen to revamp our Poppy display, adding even more elements, and a reimagined Belton Field Day as well. This is a chance for us to create a community day, bringing the families of Belton together for a day of fun and connection.

What is happening on the day

Right now we are in the planning phase, what we can confirm is Afternoon Tea which is bookable via this website. We have some Vintage Tractors secured, alongside heaps of activities for the kids including Rugby Trials, Lots of FREE games to get involved with.

We are also hosting a variety of stalls from Farmers Market, Makers Market, and Pre Loved Kids Market. Plus Craft demonstrations in the main hall. The Crown Inn will be running our bar and the Bowling Green will be open with a difference. Offering you the opportunity have a go and beat the oldies at their own game.

If you have any ideas of what else we should do, why not volunteer bring your idea to life.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We want our VE Day Celebration to be a FREE village event, but that won't happen without local support. We have several sponsorship opportunities available including Paying for an Inflatable to buying extra Afternoon Tea's to be gifted to the Over 80's. Volunteering

Whether you can help on the run up or on the day we appreciate it. Even if it is a couple of hours be the responsible adult keeping an eye on one of our inflatables we would really appreciate being able to rota you in.
